Weekly Food Preparation – Part 2


This is what my fridge looked like a couple weeks ago (but it’s not too different from what’s in it on a weekly basis)

Top Shelf: I always have unsweetened vanilla almond milk on hand – it goes great in my Shaklee 180 Smoothies! Berries for snacking, overnight oats, vegan tortilla soup, and GoodBelly probiotic juice (SO YUMMY and keeps my belly happy)

Second Shelf: Those containers have prepped veggies for salad that are marinating, vegan gravy, and mashed cauliflower, as well as mixed greens with baby spinach in mason jars (storing them in glass mason jars helps keep them fresh all week!)

Bottom drawers: Organic baby spinach – I put at least 1cup in every shake I have, Plus organic lemons for daily lemon water (and then dispose of lemons in garbage disposal to help it stay clean and smelling fresh)

Tabletop: I love having fresh tomatoes and avocado on hand (store these at room temp for the best taste), bananas, pears, and peaches.  Having fresh fruits and veggies on hand and in sight helps me make good choices.  It also helps me to see them easily so that they don’t get lost in the back of the fridge! Out of sight, out of mind.
