Valentine’s Day Protein Balls

It’s that time of the year where the long holiday season is over and winter blues often set in.  So, I thought, why not make a fun treat inspired by the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday?! Can’t go wrong with thinking about celebrating all of the people in our lives that we love – and making a delicious treat to go along!

These protein balls are super easy to make, full of nutrition, and so delicious! They only require a few ingredients, and it’s as simple as measuring, mixing, rolling, and enjoying! As you can see, most of my ingredients are organic from Trader Joe’s.  I use local honey and my favorite raw protein powder! This recipe includes nutritious protein, probiotics, and healthy fats that will fill you up and nourish your body while tasting delicious. This is probably my favorite protein bite recipe.

Mix, Roll, Enjoy! Keep in the refrigerator in a sealed container. I love doubling the recipe and freezing the rest.

Make this vegan by subbing maple syrup for the honey and using vegan chocolate chips.

Mine made about 18 heaping tablespoon sized balls.
