Another week, and another one of my FAVORITE things! This week I want to share with you my favorite thing to stay hydrated while working out.
Staying hydrated is key for good health and is especially important when working out or being active. I run regularly, and I find it necessary to carry water with me. In the past I’ve struggled with water bottles that were cumbersome to open or bothersome to carry. One of the last things you want to struggle with mid-run is struggling to get your water bottle open just to get a sip of water.
I came across this amazing water bottle last May at a race expo. I usually am great at avoiding all the sales reps, but then it occurred to me that they could be really helpful (imagine that). This water bottle was recommended to me, and I’ve been using it ever since! It’s the Nathan Sports Insulated Quickdraw handheld water bottle:
I love that it just attaches right to your hand so you don’t have to worry about gripping – and there’s a handy, dandy strap to tighten the grip very easily! To get the water out, all you have to do is give it a little squeeze and point in the direction of your mouth, and BAM – hydration!
Then, there’s this awesome pouch on the other side. This is great for putting your keys, Shaklee energy chews or gels, or other snacks you want to take with you on your trek.
I also love that this bottle is insulated, which is perfect for the hot days here in Florida. This is also great for protecting your hand from the cold. 18oz of cool water without freezing your hand off? yes, please!
